Ingredients:
- Home-made gnocchi
- Gorgonzola cheese
- Portobello mushrooms
- Garlic
- Fresh Basil
- Pecorino Romano cheese
- Marinara sauce
- Cream and butter
- Parsley
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- White wine (Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay)
Recipe:
Add some garlic and olive oil to the pan. Once the garlic is a little brown, sauté the Portobello mushrooms with a little bit of white wine. Then, add the gorgonzola cheese and the marinara sauce. In the meantime, cook the gnocchi in a pot. At this point, add a touch of butter, a little bit of cream and fresh basil to the sauce. When the gnocchi are ready, add them to the sauce and sauté everything in the same pan. As a final touch, add the Pecorino Romano cheese and a little bit of parsley. Gnocchi alla Villa Gallace – one of the restaurant’s signature dishes – pairs beautifully with Zonin Prosecco.
Buon appetito!
