The midmorning meal has become so popular that the National Brunch Day is a highly anticipated holiday that many look forward to enjoying. However, brunch should be celebrated any day because one day cannot contain the greatness.

Plum and Thyme Prosecco Smash

This cocktail features two unlikely flavors that create a delicious combination. Sweet plums and savory thyme make this a great drink to serve for any brunch spread.

    • 2 plums
    • 6 sprigs of fresh thyme
    • lemon juice
    • 4 tbsp. of thyme simple syrup (1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. water boiled, add thyme sprigs and let cool)
    • 1 bottle of Prosecco (Zonin is recommended)

Peel, chop and muddle the plums with the simple syrup and lemon juice. Shake with ice and pour over ice in two glasses. Top off with Prosecco, fresh plum slices and thyme.

This is an extremely refreshing springtime cocktail that compliments just about everything you could put on your table. To add a visual and tasty twist on this cocktail, you can use a melon baller to scoop out some fresh cantaloupe or honeydew melon to drop into the drink.

    • 1 oz melon liqueur
    • 1/2 oz triple sec
    • 4 oz Prosecco
    • Garnish — orange juice and melon balls

Moscow Mule Mimosa

A new spin on a time-tested classic, these mimosas utilize ginger beer to satisfy those with more of a sweet tooth than champagne can alone.

    • Orange juice
    • Ginger beer (spiced orange can be a great flavor if you can find it)
    • Prosecco
    • Garnish — orange or lime slices
    • Fill a champagne flute with 1/3 orange juice, 1/3 ginger beer, 1/3 Prosecco

Mango & Raspberry Prosecco Bellini

A fresh twist on the classic Bellini recipe. You can even change up the fruit combinations to appeal to more guests.

    • 1 c. frozen mango
    • 1 c. frozen raspberries
    • 1 tbsp cane sugar
    • 1 bottle of Prosecco

Add mangoes, raspberries, and sugar in a blender, and add 1/2 c water and 1/2 c Prosecco. Blend until smooth. Scoop two tbsp of fruit mixture into a glass and fill with Prosecco.

Raspberry Peach Prosecco Punch

This fruity drink is perfect because it tastes great and it is super easy to whip up for family and friends.

    • 12 oz. frozen raspberries
    • 2 c. peach nectar
    • 1 bottle Zonin Prosecco

Pour nectar and Prosecco over raspberries (muddle a bit if you’d like) and serve over ice.

White Sangria with Prosecco

Sangria is an all-time brunch favorite and this unique recipe will certainly wow your guests!

    • 1/4 c. limoncello
    • 2 nectarines, cut into slices
    • 1 c. raspberries
    • 2 c. white cranberry juice
    • 1 bottle Zonin Prosecco
    • 1 tbsp. sugar

Combine limoncello, peaches and raspberries in large pitcher, mix well and chill for an hour. Add juice and Prosecco prior to serving.

Gin and Tonic is a favorite cocktail for many because it’s light and refreshing, which makes it perfect for a summer brunch!

    • 2 oz of Gin
    • 1 oz of elderflower cordial
    • Zonin Prosecco
    • Mint sprigs
    • Cucumber slices

Mix gin and elderflower cordial together in a highball glass. Fill rest of the glass with Prosecco and garnish with a cucumber slice and sprig of mint.

Prosecco Margaritas

Just because Cinco de Mayo has passed doesn’t mean it’s inappropriate to have a margarita with brunch. These margs are a great variation that tastes scrumptious with all foods.

    • 3-4 oz. blanco tequila
    • 3 oz. cointreau
    • 4 oz. chilled simple syrup
    • 8 oz. fresh lime juice
    • 1 bottle Zonin Prosecco
    • coarse salt for rim
    • lime wedges

Mix all but Prosecco in a pitcher and chill in refrigerator for a few hours. Pour evenly between 4-6 glasses and top each with Prosecco. Garnish with salt on the rim and a lime wedge.

Lemonade Prosecco Punch

Pimm’s is a British liqueur based with gin, fruit juices, and spices. This spiked lemonade version is a great adult beverage to enjoy with a savory brunch spread.

    • 4-6 c. premade lemonade
    • 1/3 c. citrus vodka
    • 1 pint of blackberries
    • 3 sprigs of mint
    • 1 bottle of Zonin Prosecco

Stir lemonade and vodka together. Muddle a few blackberries in the bottom and drop in the mint sprigs. Let the mixture sit for a few hours (longer equals more flavor). Add Prosecco and serve.

Raspberry Limoncello Prosecco
